its nice, cheap to lol. 1/8" and its 4x8. Not sure exactly how we're gonna secure it, but first we have to cut it down to size. only $8.25 for that sheet.

Keane. You could use liquid nails after you trim it. Then put something heavy all around it to hold it down while its drying. Comes in a tube one is all you'll need. Its great stuff

Hmm, never heard of it. New top is cut and installed, decided to screw it in, screws are flush mounted and it looks good. Space heater works pretty good too, used it today while working. I'll have ot get some pictures once i get all my stuff out there.

today i cleaned the place once again and moved al my computers out. I took a picture but only of my one computer, still have to take some more. The workshop is up and running to about 90% I had a problem getting internet out there. The wireless signal isn't strong enough out there for my wireless bridge to work correctly so i might have to get a repeater/signal booster. Otherwise its great.

You have power to the shop, is there any way to run CAT5 to it as well? Or can you get the access point's antenna outdoors? Some put the whole access point outdoors and power it over an unused pair on the ethernet cable.
The rules in my leet trailer park say no utilities run to sheds so I put an RV "shore power" plug on the shed. Plug the extension cord in and it lights up all the outlets.

The problem i have was there is no where to work, bedroom floor isn't ideal, kitchen counter isn't ideal, temporary tables else where in the house are well temporary. Work shop there, with room to expand if needed aswell. I've been sitting here for the past hour or so trying to figure out what to do with the internet problem.
I looked into antenna boosters, signal repeaters, new routers. The thought of running a cable from the house to the shed just makes my head spin with $$. Its a good distance. Friend of mine made a suggestion and i LOVE IT. Powerline networking, you buy this kit and send your internet over your houses' power lines and pick it up somewhere else. The shed is connected to the home power and has a breaker that it's on so this might just work.
If it does work having the 4 port switch will be great aswell. Here is what i'm looking at.
Rocketfish™ - Rocketfish™ Powerline Networking Kit for Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo Wii, PS2 - RF-GUV1124

It'll be WAY to much BS to run an actual line to a hub out there because you'd either have to bury it or run it in the air to the shed. Neither are practical. I'm not too helpful w/ this part seeing as all my networking is done in a building so I run all my lines through walls and ceilings. The company I'm at is the main infrastructure and all our clients link off us, but they all have their own internet access in house then they just link up virtually.
I've heard of the power line things, though. Never actually used one - it'll be interesting to see if you go with that.

As for the poweline networking it may work. I have heard of it before. You owe it to yourself to checkout www.tigerdirect.com and do a search on powerline networking; a bunch of stuff came up all different prices.they also post customer reviews so you can see how well the product worked or not for others. I shop there all the time
