chrome fix?

I think it might be the chrome colored plastic also. When that stuff goes bad, forget it. I wonder if maybe you can get your hands on a strip of aluminum or other metal. Cut and shape it to fit, and get it chromed. If you're dead set on having a shiny piece of chrome on the leading edge of the hood.

The chrome piece on the hood is not the part I'm talking about. I'm talking about the trim that is on the bumpers and side skirts all the way around the car. The piece that separates the black from the pewter on my car.

Is the chrome piece on the hood real chrome? JJ mentioned what it was one time, but I forget what he said now.

Hmmm I'm not really sure actually. Mine is covered up at the moment But if I had to guess, I'd say it's not real chrome.
