agreed that math is important but the math you normally use is your typical addition subtracting multilplying and division. It's not like this nonsense i'm learning, algebra and calculus i just dont see the need to learn it if i'm never going to use it in life. Got a 74/100 on my final, but i need an 80. Luckily the professor looked it over and changed 2 wrong questions to correct so i have an 81![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://montecarloforum.com/forum/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)

I had to learn algebra and some other math while I was in school learning to be an A/C tech. It is useful for calculating pipe bending which I never do. It also teaches something else too. It teaches problem solving and critical thinking which I use all the time. My job at Disney Is all problem solving. In my job I do plumbing, air conditioning, refrigeration, residential kitchen equiment, commercial kitchen equipment, electrical, carpentry, paint, locksmith, tile work, pargo mechaic (golf cart), automobile mechanic. Basically if it is on Disney property I get to work on it if there is a problem. I can't be an expert in all these areas. Basically a jack of all trades- master of none. My job requires that I respond and make a good faith effort at a resolution. Sometimes that includes repairing a guests eyeglasses, stroller, or wheel chair, and have even worked on kids toys. Thru it all it requires critical thinking for a solution which also includes knowing when to back away and refer the issue to an expert. Without critical thinking skills I couldn't do my job.
