Many of the youngin's probably eren't around, but in the 80's one of the "Cool" things to do was to rob the emblems off of cars that had them on top of the front hood...and put them on the keychain as such...Especially offa Cadillacs and such...I think that's one of the reasons car companies stopped displaying them on the front of the hood and put them on the grill and such....
The pic reminded me of that, very cool keychain indeed...here's one I have, It was given to me by a fellow Monte Carlo owner (Mike Pazzo) at the seapirate show a few years back after I turbo'd my Monte:
