Does anybody know of a website that lists car shows and their locations? I live in a smaller town and by the time I find out about one it's over or it's way too far away.

 

I am not sure how national this one is, but try Car Show and Car Cruise Listing with Dates, Time and Distance for Car Events and Races for Hot Rods, Collector Cars and More.

I have the same problem. I live in a small town of about 30,000 people and there was a show this past Saturday about two miles from my house. I had no clue about it until it was already happening. No time to prepare and get in on it. I'm pretty sure I could have won something...

 

This is why I subscribed to Cruis'news, our local car event publisher in Michigan. Even though I'm in SE MI, right in a huge car market, it's still difficult to be aware of every single event going on because not all events post their info everywhere. Most do, however, post in Cruis'news. By now, I have my favorite shows that I do annually. For everything else, it's usually in Cruis'news so I can plan ahead of time.
