I've looked hard at all 3.
The Camaro is made in Oshawa Canada. They can't lay down a good paint job period. You'll be lucky if 2 panels have the same shade color, and the "orange peel"! ARGH!

The Challenger, hemi, trans' and assembly are all in Mexico. Mexican car. ARGH!

And the Mustang, if you want the 6 speed manual transmission, it's Chinese. ARGH! Assembled in Michigan, and if you get the auto' trans, it's American, I'm pretty sure. And I was told, for what it's worth, the '014 Mustang manual transmission will be built in the State. Is it true?????

I'm not sure Wayne - the 14s should be the same as the 13s becuase of the major redesign starting in 2014.5. So I don't know if Ford will go to the trouble for basically 1/2 a model year.

Ill agree on the paint on the Camaro... That being said, she wanted a reddish color first off, so I told her don't even look at the outside colors.. Just find a car that has all the options you need or want.. Once she did, this is the car she picked.. LOADED to the hilt.. I am a car painter, so I am going to reprint the car anyway... So the color or paint doesn't matter... The car will be a Candy Red color you can't get from the factory... Some what like the Jewel Coat Mist, but more of a candy..

Thanks for the input....mjclemm...

Wow.. That's a great price !...... Not sure if the Challenger even comes with the sunroof, but for under a $1000 is a really great price...

I almost talked her into no sun roof at all, and have "T" tops installed !... But the Stang with a sun roof rocks... Nice car.... My wife loves the color you chose as well....

Hi M.J., Sunroof is a factory option on the ZL1's, so I know it can be done..
Options for the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 include the colors, wheel and transmission options mentioned above but buyers will also be able to select a power sunroof, a stripe package, and exposed weave carbon fiber hood inserts in place of the standard black inserts.
Full information on the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is here

The power sun roof is a $900 option on the '13 Camaros.
