Default C7 Corvette might get a turbo 3.?L V8

That's what the rumor is right now anyways. It could get a turbo DOHC 3.?L V8, and that will be alongside the new 5.5L V8 that GM's going to produce. What's everyone's thoughts?

I think the original Vette was a v6 wasn't it? I think it would be a very radiacal approach to pop a turbo v6 into a Vette. Assuming it's going to not just sound neat on paper, but actually be a cool and fast car, this could mean a lot to the v6 market....

Like Chibi said, the v6 Camaros may start seeing some upgrades!!

V6? No... There are some super powerful V-6's out there like in the Nissan GT-R. I don't think they will ever work their way into a 'Vette though. A low displacement/high revving V8 would suit the Corvette just fine.

and idk about a small turbo v8 in an american icon that once had an engine that didnt move the car, but moved the earth under it. ('67 stingray with the 435hp 427 big block for those of you who have no idea what im talking about) mmmmmm '67. the last year for the stingray. after 67 they were sting rays. sorry. went a little off topic there lol. i dont have to worry about what they put in the new corvettes bc by the time i can afford to drive one they will have already made the c57 >_<
