Default BURIED 1957 PLYMOUTH

Here is an interesting one for you members into the automotive oddities. There was a brand new 1957 Plymouth Belvidere 2 door hardtop BURIED in a time capsule under the Tulsa Oklahoma courthouse lawn in 1957.It is getting enearthed less than 2 months from now on June 15.There are many car clubs planning meets and events around the Tulsa area for this event.
Nobody knows what shape the car will be in.Check out the link for details.http://www.forwardlook.net/19571958P.../countdown/asp

[:-]If I had one of those cars, I bury them to : ) [:-]
When I searched and looked at cars from the 50's, I love the 55-56-57 Chevy Bel Air's
and the Old's & some of the Buicks...., but WoW, the fin's on that Plymouth are wild : )
+ those dual space antenna's.. WoW again : ) I guess U just have 2 be there during
that era 2 appreciate. And that `Met behind the Ply looks like ababy's bath-tub on wheels : )
Were they made for a cartoon movie or zomething ?
What cartoon were they in ?
Mod Wiz & Dave...thanks 4 your posts : )

One article I read on it mentioned it could bring $20000 or so if it were still in pristine condition.Apparently the writer is unfamiliar with collectible car prices.I would think with the history alone it would bring 10 times that.Maybe we'll see it at Barrett Jackson.
