Your kidding right... Even though the price will still be horribly expensive, people have seen what that car went through. A guy that couldn't drive and those contests? Yeah right. Not to mention the damage that happened to it. If I bought it I'd probably part it out as an investment. In 7 years after the line is no longer produced you won't be able to find parts for it, and you'd easily get it's value back.
He should have done the restrictor plate thing (ala Nascar) just so he had a car with power that he could actually manage!
I mean the Lotus team was more likely to make it, there is a car that has good power, but not so much that it's un-manageable during low-speed manuvers.

I wonder if team 1 Dodge Charger could have added a secondary fuel tank. They scream about how poor their milage is and adding the weight of the fuel wouldn't help, but since they are not ***** out racing it would have helped their distance.
I haven't seen any rules if the cars can be modded or not...
