looks like you got a nice project on your hands, it will be fun to watch the progress that you make with it.
and there is nothing worse than buying something that someone else has tinkered with, that doesn't know what they are doing. I have a turbo trans am once, the good old black and gold like in the smokey and the bandit series, ya I was one of those guys that went out and had to have one after seeing the movie, but ended up with the turbo instead of getting the big brother, but anyways, the previous owner tried his hand at wiring, and from then on when I hit the brakes, the light on the passenger side floor (for the feet) would come on. Still to this day I am not certain what he did to it, to make it do that

thats funny about the lights the frame is kind of solid and rear bumper is new but not very secure lots of rust i need to get new seals for front doors and the front windows surprisingly the read roll down window dosent leak but it needs rear floors and a lot of other stuff i plan on driveing this winter and starting the work next su mer when i have some money saved up might make it so the rear cap comes off again

nice jimmy. The first vehicle i ever financed was a used 1979. It was big and loud with a nicely cammed 350 and headers with glaspaks. I always wanted another one but have never bought one. Oh and i hate it when people hack up wiring and make it sloppy. glad you got it figured out tho.
