Hey all sorry I've been lacking in the forum scene as of lately, I have been through a LOT and I mean a LOTTT, my first son was born, his mother let me and took him with, finally got visitations a month later, sold my beloved F150 and got a daddy car (06 Grand Prix base model), Grand Prix was in a hail storm (no full coverage) and also a deer hit (I repaired the damage but didn't paint ). Anyway through everything I wanted to eliminate all memories of my ex, so my loved f150 went first, it wasnt too bad as I already had a 03 Chevy 1500 to replace it, next however was the hardest, yes Black Rain, my beloved 05 Monte Carlo SS Supercharged. It happened last summer, I pulled it out of storage and had light smoke rolling from it, had it looked at to find out it was a valve cover gasket, few bucks later the issue was fixed. Well I decided that I no longer wanted to stick with a Monte (I always wand to win Monte of the month and never did ) anyway I threw it up on craigslist for $8,000. At the time it booked for $8,500 with a clean title and mine had a slavage title and 79,300 miles. Anyway I had many many offers, the main ones were a college kid who offered $4,000 and a older man looking for his sons first car who offered $3,600 because of the title. Well as luck would have it A guy came and looked at it in person and offered me $7,000 I told him I'd really like $7,500 (sweating the whole time figuring I'd never get that and he would walk away) well 2 days later he showed up with a bank check for $7,500. As you could imagine I had some bills to pay so my quest was to find an LS1 Camaro or Firebird for around $5,000. So first I looked at an 01 Firebird Formula, it had 115,00 miles ttops ls1 v8 and.....it was missing every single cap under the hood, it had a scuff on the spoiler, the stitching in the seats was coming out and the speaker covers were covered in dust....he was asking $6,500 I started at $5,000 and my final offer was $5,300 he declined saying it was worth 7k. Well the next one was the one I bought...I hate white leather but that was the only downfall for me. It is a 1998 Z/28 Camaro TTops, red, 105k upon purchase and literally 3 rock chips and no rust scored it for a lil over 5k. I'm extremely happy with it and the pricing. Ir realize I could have possibly bought one cheaper in other states however going price here for one int he shape I bought it is around 8k. The guy I got it from wanted out of his loan to buy a minivan (he had 4 kids and had only the camaro and an Accord). Anyway glad to be around and hear from u guys again!!

Thanks! My 05 looked just like your 02 just Supercharged. Been browsing the Forum and haven't seen a lot of the old faces I used to know but I'm sure its changed quiet a bit. Love your 84 by the way! As of right now the Camaros still stock but hoping to change that by around May and start buying parts from ws6project.com

Thanks man! Love what you've done with Black Licorice that hood is hella mean! I miss mine I had been keeping track of the kid who bought it on facebook and in 6 months of owing it he had racked it up from 79,200 miles to 92,000 miles and put it on craigslist for the same price e paid for it. I knew he would never get $7,500 out of it with a Salvage title hell I was shocked I did (I was expecting $5500-$6000 tops). Anywayit sat for awhile then one day I checked out his facebook and after he dropped the price to $6,700 he got sick of trying to sell it and "sold it to his dad" now the kid has a 2012 Ram 1500, a 06 Chevy 1500 and a 80s Monte.

Yep is a 5.0 and it's awesome. It also gets great gas mileage and drives like a dream. I had a 13 V6 coupe and traded it for this one.
