Biggest scam story you'll read today.
Some guys on the Torino forum posted this... think half of them buy hte story.
1970 Plymouth Superbird 440 6 pack 727 Auto Tor Red | eBay
That's a west coast car with west coast rust. Guys' got glasses... he's just an idiot. Unless you mean to tell me hte original color of that car is rust. There is no fire damage. And I'm sorry, but that engine has been in that car for an awfully long time. Mopars are known to rust, but not that bad even. I dont' even know why the guy made up such a bad story... I think my 7 year old nieces can come up with better. Geeze....
There is NOTHING about that car to tell me it has EVER been restored. floor pan has a whole rusted where hte heater core goes (if I'm looking at the right thing), and that takes time. That car has been in that damaged state and out in a field for much longer than 8 years. Besides, economic melt down was only 3 years ago.. car odesn't rust that bad in 3 years, no matter how badly you treat it.
If the car was restored, how come there is no interior? How come that engine has all that oil and tarnish built up on it? Doesn't look like an engine that was restored and then burned or anything to me. And I don't care what he says, that mcuh surface rust didn't come about in 6-8 years of being outside... no way. Not unless it had no paint at all on it. Car doens't look like it was near a fire iether. Looks more like a tree fell on it than stuff in a garage.

superbird....
Looks more like a stunt double for the "General Lee" from "The Dukes of Hazard" and then "Cooter" couldn't repair it.......
Seriously, That car has been setting somewhere for a very long time.
It does appear to me that the motor may have caught on fire a little bit ? Maybe I'm wrong ? It's had a hard life. That front nose piece may be worth something ? There are con artist out there and this may be one of them ?
