I agree. They really ruined that car. The builder was a Chevy guy and he put a Chevy motor in it and the supercharger was bolted to the hood. It wasn't bolted to the motor and it wasn't functional.

really??? i just remember one scene when it was in the garage and it looked mean. mannn thats ruined for me now! ahaha

One of my mopar mags did a feature on the car. The guy the movie used to do the cars knew Chevy's very well and new how to get performance out of a Chevy. He knew nothing about mopars. The movie wanted the Charger to perform. It has been a long time since I read that article. I think the car was originally a 318 car so he yanked it and he built a Chevy motor and put that in there. The movie guys wanted it to look powerful too so he bolted the supercharger to the hood. The chevy motor sat to low in the frame to bolt it directly to the engine.
