Big News!!!
Last night, my girlfriend Jenna and I got engaged after being together almost 5 years!!! 
So we went and saw one of the funniest and greatest broadway shows I have ever seen: Rock of Ages. The show was sooo fantastic, it was just amazing to be in a theatre and it feel like a rock concert.
Afterwards we took a walk around center city, and I chose one of the busiest streets possible, where we took our first date, where we became official, and where I used to live.
So that is RIGHT before I decided to do it.
Then I surprised her right in the middle of the road, with cars honking, people cheering, women shouting "say yes!!!". And she was just completely shocked and in tears. It was exactly how I planned! A complete and perfect surprise.
Then we went for a little walk, because you just HAVE to go to Love Park afterwards.
THEN, we went out to dinner to celebrate, which was ANOTHER surprise, because I was able to get her family AND my family to meet at a restaurant and bombard her with a nice celebration!

My favorite part of everything was how surprised she was. We recently had an argument because I bought the Camaro before buying her a ring, so she was mad that I spent all of my money and postponed things, when really, the whole time we were arguing, the ring was not even 5 feet away

congrats mike! hope you're ready for an interesting "rest of the year". Enjoy it and have fun with the wedding plans. . . it's stressful, but goes by in the blink of an eye.

Congratulations Mike and Jenna. I wish you lots of luck and much happiness. Your decision to buy your Camaro is the last one you will make as an individual. From here on out they are joint. And if they are not you will live to regret.
