I do have a question?
I own a tux and where it several times a year part of a church organization. I usually have black dress shoes. So there has to be a story about the shoes with the blue laces? they match the blue accents on the car too.
Once again great shot, on a very great and happy day!!

The shoes are actually regular shoes and the blue laces matched the car and our wedding colors (blue and orange) we wanted to be comfy for the wedding so dress shoes did not happen haha

 

I actually kinda feel bad because I voted for myself on that one (I don't usually). I had to. That probably my favorite picture ever. It's makes me happy just looking at it. These are weird pics to take because you feel like an idiot taking them. For starters, I'd driven the car somewhere it has no business being. Y'gotta do that to get the shot you want sometimes. People watch and I never really know what I'm doing. I set the timer, bark a lot of orders and run around like a freak. But a few pics go awesome like this one which I'll always cherish.

I'm thankful for the family.
I'm thankful we got a great shot that day.
And I'm thankful for the photo contest win and that this shot will remain immortalized forever in the Great MCF Photo Winner's Gallery!

On a side note, I've seen other wedding photos of John's. I think maybe he's got better pics that could have won this one. I always think it's cool when members involve their Monte's in their wedding. I know admin Mike did this too. That's real Monte love.

On the next theme:
Is it too early to roll with the Christmas Picture Contest? It seems like it is the season now. But the time submissions are done it'll be the 10th - the 17th to finish voting. To start a Christmas contest after that seems too late and the holidays themselves might find members to busy to post or submit. Are we ready for this? (I am)
