Default Auto insurance premiums?

Has anyone had experience with changing/adding vehicles to their policy?

At that time had 3 vehicles. 2 liability only and the other full coverage. Then we added a car. Total 4, 3 liability and 1 full coverage. Price dropped a few dollars on each cars premium.
We then switched out my husbands truck for my Monte. Premiums dropped again.

Now come today dropped the vehicle we had full coverage on and added a vehicle with only liability. Premiums went up on the other vehicles on the policy.
WTH? Why do the other vehicles go up because of a change of another vehicle?
2 of the cars are my kids cars, which they pay their premiums. Now because of the change today to save US money, my kids have to pay more. They didnt go up a whole lot, but why they heck did it go up at all? My Monte went up $22, my sons car went up $24 and my other sons car went up $26.

I agree about the money game. That's what I said, but it shouldn't be allowed. I was trying to figure out what discounts there would be. They shouldn't effect the other vehicles, so it really doesn't make sense.

My parents used to get a discount on their auto insurance due to some type of "Fleet" discount. They had like 5-6 cars that they were paying insurance on. 2 of them were collector cars, 2 were their daily drivers and then my sisters cars as well.

State Farm raised my premium on me. And I didn't even do anything. My dad and I had the same insurance agent. Apparantly he was giving me some discount because he had both of our policies. My dad decided to go with another insurance company with a different agent. When I got my renewal in the mail, my insurance went up a couple hundred bucks for the year.

State Farm agent I had dealt with since I was 16 did care to try and work something out with me. Told him I'll go somewhere else. He still didn't care. Sayonara State Farm.
