Glad to hear you made it safely. I've driven between Las Cruces and Tucson many times. Bad weather can make it scary given the wide open spaces for long stretches.
Looks like Flagstaff is getting hammered with snow today.

Since you are in those areas of NM and AZ, I expect to see some pics you took along US Route 66!

Morning all: well we've been here a few days now. Just got into our place yesterday. Spent a few days at another place. till this one opened up. Sorry about any pictures i didn't take. But we've made this trip so many times since 1977. It all looks the same. The long stretches are still the same. But i love driving it & looking at it. There was a scary moments coming into Tucson. When the rain was really coming down & the temps dropped to 35. I thought I was going to pull over. I didn't want to chance it going into a ditch cause of ice on the rd. But that was the low as it got. Stayed in Tucson for the night. Got up to Hard rain & cold temps. But waited it out till 11 am. Still cold but sun was coming out. Then as always I had to hit the Harley shop. Never been to the one in Tucson. Very nice. Spent over an hr there. Buying a few things. looking at Harley's. ... Today is visiting family. Carmen's bother is an old biker. So we have a lot in common & To talk about over dinner. He has an old 78 bagger. That needs to be put back together. But has no time. Nough about that. Only seen one Nice Monte out here so far. Since the weather is going to warm up from here on in. Can't wait to go up to cave creek. Nice bars up that way. Well thats your Sunday Morning up date from the valley of the SUN Rick
