Good morning guys.

Crazy weather this weekend. We had roughly 2.5" of rain over the entire weekend and that included freezing rain Saturday morning. Due to the ice, one of our neighbor's pine trees was dropping branches and dropped one right on the power line, surging the power really bad for a few minutes and started burning and smoking while laying on the line. Fire dept was out and said they would let the line burn through the branch til it fell, which it did. Luckily our yard is a bit higher than our neighbor's around us; their yards were like ponds. Lots of power outages but we never did lose ours.

Pretty Crazy weather for sure! We got about 2.5 inches of Snow and it just stuck mostly to the Grass, but north of me they got a serious Blizzard. Interstate 80 was closed west of us From Grand Island all the way to the Wyoming Border.
that was nuts.
Here is a shot of the Snow Blizzard way out west that hit near Sidney, NE you can see all the Trucks that are lined up forever along the road.

Good morning guys. 28 degrees this morning, it's snowing AGAIN and traffic is terrible. Looks like Friday into the foreseeable future is suppose to be more 'normal', in the 50s/60s, and a lot dryer!

We lost power for a few hours yesterday. There's still 145,000 in SE MI without power - at it's peak there was 390,000 without power.

Pretty kool for sure.
Sometimes this has issues with posting, not sure why but the other day I was preparing something and all of a sudden it blanked out on me.
Could be the service provider I have to.
Sometimes I get the note that the connection has been lost.

Anyway the weather yesterday was fairly good the sun came out and most of the snow has now melted away. Today supposed to be nicer so that is good can't wait to get this fickle winter over with.

76 in Denver yesterday, 60's today and snow in the forecast for Friday! It all melts away fast, and a day later streets are dry and the SS is clean again....glad when it's all done though! Been a very mild winter this year.....
