Mostly monitor .52 on 101 & on weekends in town.

 

I'm still going through withdrawl not having a mobile station. I sold the Blazer I had my IC7000 in...and haven't decided if I want to put a radio in the Monte yet or not. I like where you mounted the head unit - what are you using for an antenna?

Barovelli Nice install. That bracket idea is pretty good. I may use that to mount something in the future. I'm not a ham radio guy but have been a police scanner listener my whole life. No mounts in the monte carlo yet tho,but ive been thinking about it.

Almost forgot too tell you guys...just added a yaesu FT-250 to my ht-collection.My old radio shack ht wore out..very heavy also, compared to the new compact handhelds..
