Wow, I really like the look of that Ruger. And a .45, thats quite a hand-cannon.

I looked at 1911's too and I really liked the Springfield 1911 but out of my price range. Granted there are the cheap Rock Island 1911's but...they seem cheapy. Now you've got me looking at the Ruger SR9.

My baby girl, as posted is the other gun thread

A scandium framed Smith & Wesson 386 Night Guard

7 rounds of .357 magnum, also shoots .38 special and .38+P

Magnums are great, of course, but I carry +Ps. Much easier to put follow up shots on target.

i always recommend revolvers for a daily carry, because they will not jam, and the safety will not be on when unexpected 'oh crap' moment happens. With me majority of semi auto pistols, you must remember to chamber a round and/or disengage a safety to fire in the heat of the moment. Revolvers just point and shoot.

All these gun threads makes me want to get one.I haven't fired a weapon in about 11 1/2 years or so kinda miss it.
Like to get a M4 or a AR and a pistol maybe a old school 1911.

There's my M&P. I don't have a pic handy of the Sigma though.

Ashley, your bf must be a lucky guy. Into cars and firearms? Geeze finding a girl like that is a pipe dream for me.

Same here. I haven't fired one in a long time. My dad has a small arsenal he doesn't fire because he can't see very well anymore. I need to start shooting again.
