am i wrong or is this a brigs & straton symbol
im pretty sure it is, haha. i didint know that GM was still using stuff made by briggs & stratton, but apparently they've been using briggs & stratton stuff for a LONG time, all the keys for GM cars from like 1968 all the way back to the 40's at least were made by briggs & stratton. the keys for my buick have that same stampping on them, i thought it was a joke & they were for a lawn tractor at first
well that one's from 94 so that when they where still a independant auto maker... i'll have to look at my 99
automakers use parts from places all sorts of places. my work makes linkage parts GM. im sure if would fit there needs and was proven, they would use it. like the part that goes between the crank and the window motor {not sure what the tech terms are for that suff, we make um for military veheicals}and some Drive train stuff too.
briggs makes a great lawn mover engine, i would buy a B&S b4 a honda powered mower any day of the week.
