36 'n' done!

Hard to believe I've finished my 36 sessions of Cardiac Rehab for my 11/11/2011 open heart surgery; last session was 04/13/2012. I plan to return to the facility via their monthly fee, but I have to find a new job first. Wouldn't mind some other dreams/goals coming true, either...just sayin'.

Some people have likened CR to watching paint dry, but not for me. It made me a bit more "lean'n'mean". More importantly, it was fun, thanks to the nursing staff & fellow rehabbers.

Congrats Cort. Some people don't have that patience and that's probably why they had a miserable time.

Congratulations I hope it's "easy sailing" from here on out! My grandpa had a heart transplant at 32 so I know a fullfilling life can be had after medical setbacks stay strong and stay on

Thank you, Mike. Yes, I suspect that is part of it. If you don't have the patience, you aren't going to put all the effort into it. I think another part of it is the support/staff at the CR place. The nurses were phenomenal ... as were the fellow rehabbers. I really miss it.

Thank you!!! And, yes, indeed! This was my 4th open heart surgery ... but first time in CR ... and I'm glad I did it. Sure helped!

In some ways, finishing Cardiac Rehab for my 4th open heart surgery has/will make some 2012 anniversaries sweeter & more meaningful.

Right now, the job outlook is not so good, but all else is much better than that!
