intake is a paint in the butt to install. but well worth it. sounds sweet. as for the hood. i freaked out cuz the right side was bumped up but it was just the bump stop so i lowered it and it sits perfect

kissmyss03, that looks like it fits really nice.. When you get the hood painted, just send it to me so I can install on my car instead of you putting on yours OK.. ?? LOL...J/K My car is Superior Blue Met also. You probably remember seeing it in my post on that other board (2000montecarlo.com) we both used that crapped out again.. I used the same name there also..

Anyway, what are your thoughts on that hood now that you have it? Is it study enough? Can you use the ram air scoop for real, or is it just for looks?

The hood looks good, the monte carlos need something to dress up the front end. I was wondering where you found that hood? and the pricing on it?

damn man, everytime I see that hood on a monte I want it more and more. It makes it look aggressive, I like it! If only it had some go to go with the show(talking about my LS)

to make it functional you cut out that little circle under the hood. they dont pre cut it for the incase of u not wanting it to be functional. but i have the intake to match it and im getting that circle cut out so it will be fully functional. but DAMN that engine sounds a lot meaner already. the hood is from pfyc.com 699.00 fiberglass, very strong feeling. and fits like a glove.
