More horsepower yes, but it doesn't have the torque since its a dohc engine. Only 284lb-ft torque.

Hi Keane, I think the new V6 Camaro's are quick. Is a 07SS Monte or Supercharged V6 Monte Faster ?

For the $'s & Insurance Cost I would buy a V6 with the Track Pkg & have a blast...If you watch the posted youtube vid of the V6 (?) it really sounds super mean & great, + it's lighter & I think would be a super street ride with decent power without breaking the bank... I'm just happy GM Chevy are making them

Quick for sure, and an LS4 is most certainly faster than the supercharged v6.

Hi ``Keane, I think the new 2016 Camaro V6 would smoke a 3.8L SuperCharged Monte. I agree the Camaro are brand new with many advances & it's really a poor comparison of vehicles. One thing that I was surprised is that a 04 Monte Supercharged new is around $31k + & You can get a new Camaro for around 27K WoW...I had a 3.8L V6 manual in a Eclipse & I just didn't like the FWD...I love RWD like the Camaro's 4-Sure....

If I get a Camaro (?), I'll drive up there or you can drive to Florida & we can Race (LOL)
