Dear lord does every new car have to have headlight LEDs? I mean, they look good and all, but it's like overplaying a song on the radio...

Thanks again `Brittany, for finding/posting/sharing.
I like what they did to the New Bug
& Love the lights also : )
I'd drive one if they needed a alien space test driver : )

I wonder if `Brent (JrCar) will trade his race Monte 4 one LOL
Thanks Brittany, for all your Contributions to your Monte Carlo Family 4-Sure

Wow, they sure stole the back of the Porsche didn't they? Looks just like a Porsche from the side and rear. It has the MKVI jetta front end. I like it though, way better looking than previous generations, but I still wouldn't buy one.

I quite like the black one though.

For those unaware, the original VW Beetle body was actually designed by Porche for VW. Porshe/Audi/VW have various histories together.

If you look at the original Beetle to a Porsche from the same time frame, you can see a LOT of similiarities (the Beetle from the outside looks like a taller Porsche, but perhaps not as wide).

So seeing a similiarity between the current Beetle and a Porsche is not a shocker.

Thanks `Alex, for finding & posting a Black one...I was searching for one in Black...I'd like one with the 2.L 200HP Turbo....It will be interesting to see what they will cost...
I do like the changes & back to their Porsche Heritage.
I look 4ward to their Road Test Reviews...
I wish they were built in the USA or Germany & not in Mexico...It would be a fun Go-Kart : ) LOL

Well it's settled. If I had an extra 25k laying around & could only use it on a new car I think i'd get the new Beetle. The more & more I look & read about these things the more & more I like them for some reason. But I've always loved Beetles, especially the older ones so this one being based & going back to the styling of the older ones has really gotten my attention tbh

Memo to the Volkswagen Beetle: Embrace Your Feminine Side, Already

I personally think these are more manly than the other newer models in the past. I don't see a problem with a guy wanting one of these newer Beetles if they are looking for a small DD to get around in that gets decent gas mileage (honestly it shocks me that it doesn't get more than 22/30mpg but oh well). Jay Leno seems to like the new Beetle. Now if they are getting it because it is cute thenn yeahh that's a bit different lol

After making fun of the last generation of bugs, I would totally drive one of the new ones.
