This may not be a surprise to some of you. But I can now tell all of you that the Monte Of The Month calendar will return for 2012.

This makes each Monte Of The Month competition, and the 2010 Monte Of The Year competition very important. The cover will go to the 2010 MOTY winner. And each 2011 MOTM winner will appear in the months. So you have even more incentive now to take some spectacular shots of your Monte. Experiment and try some locations or picture styles that are out of the ordinary or just look cool.

What about the 2010 MOTM winners? The moderators and I have discussed some ideas to try to fit the 2010 winners into the 2012 calendar somehow. I can't promise anything yet. But some ideas have already been discussed, and I'm going to do the best I can to get them into the calendar somehow.

An official 2011 MonteCarloForum.com Monte Of The Month Calendar is simply out of the question. It can't be done. For more than one reason. I'm sorry, but it's out of my control, and it has to be that way. Please, just let it go.

The important part is the MOTM calendar will be returning for 2012!

I know how much time that you have put into this issue, and
doing your best to have a calendar with all the MOTM & MOTY winner's for our membership.

Many member's are very happy with our sponsor's calendar, but it was a completely different type of contest. I thank our sponsor for their hard work, and I hope they did well.

It will be great to have a 2012 Calendar with our winner's again...Thank you for everything you do for the Member's & everyone in our Monte Carlo Family....

I think RJ deserves thanks for making the MCF MOTM calendar get off the ground in the first place. Without him, the 2010 calendar never would've been made.

That would be cool. MillerMonteSS did it on his V8 7th gen. It would be cool to see it done on your 3.8 litre.

 

This may not be the right area to discuss, but I'll throw it out there anyways...

OK, so as I recall MemberCalendars.com was expiring their sponsorship with MCF. Do we know if they intend to produce Monte calendars for 2012 (and perhaps renew their MCF sponsorship)?

 

They will be making their decision sometime during the year. But after conversations with them, they told me if they do sponsor calendars with us (and the other forums), they will not be running the contest themselves. They're going to leave it to the forums to supply the pictures, and they will take care of the rest.

That's if they decide to do it next year. If they don't, we'll simply go back to doing it ourselves. Either way, it's going to be a MOTM calendar.
