What, do they do that ? It's really a big improvement over the past Tauras, and a
few senior's I know want to test drive one, but it's
Chevy Impala Competition...I don't want one, but they
have many new features...I think it will sell to those with families,
and older drivers.

For me, it must have a GM emblem to be considered awesome! LOL!
I like the Camaro, and Corvette is always a favorite...I really like the Pontiac G8 too...oh and the Cadillac CTS.
If the next Impala looks like this, I would buy one for sure...
I totally agree, with anyone who thinks i'm a total GM snob, but it is what it is, I will not change, I love GM cars....

There's several that I like. Honestly, the new camaro looks good from a distance, but it also looks just like the Challengers. And the fit and finish on the Camaro doesn't impress me at all. I've looked at 3 of 'em close up now. The paint is crap. Chevrolet just doesn't know how to lay down a good paint job.
If I was to buy a new car right now what would it be?????? That's the $50,000 question!
It'd be a new Shelby GT 500 Mustang!
I KNOW, I KNOW! IT'S NOT A GM! But look where GM is at today, or rather Monday. A day late and a $ short for me. The fit and finish, as well as the well respected performance level of the GT 500, AND the easy mods to kick it up even MORE, well, this is my current favorite. And how many gen's of Mustangs are there? I believe this gen is my favorite of the bunch, and I KNOW this is the best quality of the bunch, and I've owned a few.
So what was the car I just bought 1 1/2 years ago??? Some of you have seen pics, and RJ seen her 1st hand, and she IS a sweet ride, AND she is still in production, AND she's a GM. End of an era. Not too many Pontiacs going to be made any more, so this ride is special to us. We have a beauty of an Olds' also, but this little girl is just plain HOT! Her name? Lucy! This is LadyT's '07 Pontiac Solstice GXP, a little 350 HP 2.0L rocketship. And they are still being made. Lucy:
It's going to be a sad day when "Pontiac Excitement" is no longer available!

I know a Cavalier is by no means even close to compairing to your GXP, but for what its worth, my 03 Cavalier had the Ecotec 2.2L....And WOW, that is an incredible engine...Most reliable car I've ever had...I have tons of respect for the Ecotec engines. They are GREAT!
