Default 2008 Shelby GT500 mustang

Got to work today and found a 2008 shelby GT500 mustang sitting in the parking lot. The owner brought it in for rustproofing. It had less than 100 miles on it. It was really impressive to look at. It was blue with white stripe and black interior. I was dissapointed though with some things. The sound wasnt anywhere near what I expected, it didnt sound any better than a stock mustang GT. Also the craftsmanship wasnt quite that good. The bumper cover andthe fenders didnt seem to match up.The door and hood gaps weren'tvery even and when I got underneath the axel tubes were just bare steel with sloppy welds and the factory exhaust system looked like it was done by a sub-part exhaust shop. Pretty much every metal pieceunder the car had no paint/primer or rustproofing on it and were covered with surface rust. The wheels and tires were also abnormally heavy, even for as big and fat as they were. All in all it was a nice car but they could have done a few things better. I took pics on my phone but I have no way to put them on the computer.

I bought one of those last year and was NOT impressed at all. Other then a huge G load when you punch it, it had nada. Handling was sub-par. Interior was **** poor and plasticity and the brakes, LOL what a JOKE! 4 piston brembo junk up front with a 1 piston caliper in the rear. I mean come on for 70k I expected WAY more. Like I stated earlier, it was a blast to take out and hammer the throttle to feel the rush of acceleration. But they even lie about the power it makes. We dynoed it and it only had like 468HP and like 440 lb/ft of torque. If i had spent the money on a Z06 I can almost guarantee i would have gotten 500 at the rear wheels and a plush leather interior with GP/NAV and a nice leather steering wheel... blah, blah, blah.

I do have ONE nice thing to say about that Stang. It is MEAN LOOKING and a beauty to look at. Enough about F@$d junk.

BTW sold it to my cousin cuz he lives in NY so he can admire it in the garage all winter long. LOL
