2001 Camaro Z28 vs 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 - YouTube

Why is the whole video not popping up on screen with a still shot from the video? It's just the link, I don't understand.

Thank you, ran a 13.5 in the 1/4 mile, but I'm pretty sure I can get a better time out of it than that with more practice.

Hey, good memory, I'm impressed. I remember you as well, you were usually the most knowledgeable person on the site.

It was Quatermain, it was the name of the character from the movie "League of Extraordinary Gentlmen", then I changed it to Quatermain S/C SS because I was about to purchase a 2004 Monte Carlo SS, but that fell through and I got the Z28 instead. Been hanging around on LS1tech.com for awhile, but decided to come back here and reacquaint myself.

Yes, I remember after my '03 Monte Carlo was totaled and I was in the market for a new car. I came back to this site often asking many question about the '04 S/C SS and eventually moved onto the Z28 Camaro. I remember you saying back then that you'd be happy with a 3.8 Camaro, and now I see you've got one. Might be thread highjacking a little bit, but it's my thread. But how do you like your Camaro? Does it feel quicker than your Monte Carlo? How's the handling?

I've got the T-tops on mine too, in the good weather it's definitely one of my favorite features about the car. Feels good on a warm day. Handling of the F-body's is pretty good, RWD cars are a lot more fun than FWD cars to beat on, I've realized. Of course I still miss my Monte, the plush ride, the cabin amenities, the fuel economy, etc. But the Camaro runs like a champ, can't complain. I'm just glad I own a Chevy.

It feels much slower than my Monte.

But having the manual and the t-tops off makes it fun.

I only plan on having it another year, maybe year and a half. Then I'm going to get something newer.
