Not sure why they would use this as their add title as it is not a "rare" car. GM never made one from the factory and the add later states that it is converted... the add should state in the title it's a "conversion"...

$20,000!!!

Cutting the top off just weakened the structure of the car. Nice car. But I'd rather have it before they converted it.

Same here. For that kinda money you could find a nice Malibu/Chevelle convertible.

+1 i completely agree!

the only reason to buy that car would be the power-train, and any other salvageable parts...nothing to total 20k though...

I lovee the 1st gen as a convertible. I want to find one in the future & make it bright blue with a black top

Used to be three of them in the greater Dayton area.

The guys on Monte SS.com said a company did the conversions after the cars left the factory.

But the work is said to be top notch.
