Did some reading on it they where only made in 1968 for 5.5 months and 4,100 made. they shared some of the same parts with the shelby. I gota ask Cuz how much he wants.
Now I have a problem of where would I work on it and store it?

Just like I said Califonia Specials are collectable some people like them more then Shelby Mustangs ..

Yea, I just wish I made my garage taller it 32 foot deep 22 wide

I can understand how much you'd want that car. It's a classic. And it's a perfect opportunity to get a classic at a good price, restore it, and possibly make it a show car. Me being a classic car nut, I'd be jumping on that car really fast.

But let me play devil's advocate for a minute. To restore it, you need a garage to do it. Meaning you'd have to put the Monte outside. And once the car is done, you're gonna have to keep it garaged if you want to keep it looking good. Plus I suspect that eventually your cousin will start bugging you to sell the car back to him.

I know Taz... Truth hurts (LOL) I even thought of selling the Deuce to make room and have a cash reserve for restoration.

You sound like the voice in the back of my head telling me logistaclly this aint going to work out... But I'll give cuz a call and drive out to see the car again it's been about two years since I drove it or saw it last

I have been there afew times , I passed on a 1965 - 396 corvette for sale $2200 in 1984 , 1955 nomad for $ 950 in 1980 , 1948 anglia for $ 1500 in 1983.., I hope everything works out for your cousin..

You can always store it im my garage lol

If anything a storage shed could work too & just tinker with it when u have time & money too
