11 Greatest Muscle Cars Ever Made?
I came across this article and wondered what others think about it. Are there cars on this list you think shouldn't be on it? Are there cars not listed that you think should be? What's your opinion?

I feel like it is a bit prejudiced in favor of Chevrolet and modern cars. It iddn't say classic muscle, just muscle, so I was suprised so many modern cars were featured. Seemed a bit predjuced in favor of the modern cars too.
I wouldn't have gone with the '70 429 Mustang. You don't see many today, most people try to set up something like a '68 Cobra with the 428, which was nearly as fast. The 429 in the '70 didn't stand the test of time. The '70 Torino Cobra wasn't the NASCAR dominator the '68-9 was, but I give them a pass for that. The 429 in the '70 was a lot faster car, so I credit that. The AMC surprised me, but it really was a good car... I figured it would handle better with a longer wheel base though... seemsl ike it would be twitchy to me.
And I'm a little surprised they took the '68 chevelle over hte '70 Chevelle. The '70 with the 454 had a more lasting impact, the 396 was more produced, yet I can still go with the '68 too. There were just so many great cars though... the Roadrunner, the GTX, the oriignal Challenger, the Cougar, the Malibu, the '70 Buick Skylark Grand Nationals with that 455, The Olds 422...
Anytime you set out to do a list like this, you are going to get into some trouble.
Maybe what we should do is a big thread on this forum. Make it a little game. Everyone posts their favorite car of all time, see who can make the better argument. I think we've had threads where we posted about our favorite cars before. Maybe we could make a thread where the rules are you can only post one car, and try not to post a car that someone else posted. Put up a picture, why you like it, next person puts up a new car.....
I don't know.

I think it's a decent list but a lot of great cars were forgotten. As with any list it is gonna be the writers favorite cars or a select group of people.
Duane I like your thread Idea. I think I know what I'll pick already.

I would take out the new cars and add a few they did not list.
Dodge Daytona 500/ Plymouth Superbird
Challenger RT
Hemi Cuda convertible (the most valuable of all muscle cars)
GTO Judge
71 Mach 1 Mustang
Oldsmobile 442
Those should have been there imo
