I had an s10 in the 90s and my insurance was higher than I thought it should be so I asked the agent why and he told me because of the theft rate of that vehicle. Guess he was telling the truth.

 

I'm not usually one for conspiracies. But considering all the different results of the different most stolen lists. I wonder if these most stolen lists are only compiled so insurance companies can raise people's rates. Making sure that the most popular cars are always on the most stolen list.
