According to the article, thieves like to steal cars that have parts that don't change much from year to year.

The good news is, there are no Monte Carlos on the list!

i thought at one time the Dodge Neon was on there. That was awhile agot he article had stated that the reason being was gas prices going up and the fact that theres so many damn neons no matter what color u steal thers hundreds to match it lol. Good to know theres no Monte Carlos on the list though.

 

Hi Mod `Mike, I thought it was a top ten stolen vehicle also, but maybe with the high price of gas that they are not in demand anymore LOL

Unless those former Rich Kids that lost their allowance from their parents are stealing them now to impress LOL

I remember that the Monte and the Olds Cutlass were the most stolen in the 80's. At least here in Ontario, Canada they were.

 

You're right. According to an April CNN-MONEY article, the Cadillac is the most commonly stolen vehicle.

I do find it interesting that 7 out of the 10 are GM products... idk if thats a good thing or a bad thing....

 

Good catch `Justin....on all the GM models, but that was back when fuel was cheap or cheaper : ) Now, the thieves are going for MPG's LOL instead of CLASS
