I ,and I am thankful that I am not forced to go fight a waraway from my homeland. Space dude!! Man i normally think what you have posted is either true, or funny and verry rarley to i disagree with most of your thoughts but the above is one i have to say is oh SO WRONG!!

None of them were forced to do anything. some didnt like the fact that they went to war becuse this is not what they thought was going to happen. Unforchantly the worlds events and the actions of some have changed this.

But you have to understand there IS NO DRAFT!! SO NO ONE WAS FORCED TO GO TO WAR.
But there are soem that feel they were becusethey didnt sing up for it when they singed thier name on those papers they figured it was going to just be a job with good benifits.

They woul dhave been very right if this was still peace time . But it is not at this time there fore they are doing the actuall job that they were hired to do. on top of regular duties that are some they dont mind doing.

But not forced!
So CAl. is only one of many that have either gone or will go before this is all over. My wife put in 16.5 years in to the service and has only gotten out due to a medical discharge for injuries that she recived fighting over there. So the good news is she is alive. the bad is that she lost a chance to complete her personal goal. Of making the higest rank she could as a chife master Sgt.

We were in a way lucky, most folks would never know she was hurt in anyway by looking at her. She still has tolive with the pain inside .

if you ask her she has noregrets that she went to the service.

This is not a person forced to go. Just one that knew when she singed on the line it could mean that she could go to war at any given time.

I have personally lost 6 verry close frends there. but i can also say before they left each one of them said the same thing. I want to go to help my country. there is alot more to this war then folks know about. and alot more then what other see or even tell ya about. just know there is a good reason for us to protect our freedom from this insane person. and is groups of fools that follow him.

Mickey kicking the soap box to the corrner.

My grandfather read my above post, & emailed methe below songs. He used to play his Guitar, andsing the songs on the Beach with his friends. He stills does : ) I love him, and share thesongs he sent me. Read the words, andsing along....They say my thoughts.EnJoy the message of theWORDS.PeaceWaiting for theWorld to changeMe and all my friends
We're all misunderstood
They say we stand for nothing and
There's no way we ever could
Now we see everything is going wrong
With the world and those who lead it
We just feel like we don't have the means
To rise above and beat it

So we keep waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change
We keep on waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change

It’s hard to beat the system
When we're standing at a distance
So we keep waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change

Now if we had the power
To bring our neighbors home from war
They would have never missed a Christmas
No more ribbons on their door
When you trust your television
What you get is what you got
‘Cuz’ when they own the information ooohhh,
They can bend it all they want

So while we're waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change
We keep on waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change

It's not that we don't care
We just know that the fight ain't fair
So we keep waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change

(Guitar solo)

We're still waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change
We keep on waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change

One day our generation
Is gonna rule the population

So we keep on waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change
Know we keep on waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change
we keep on waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change
Waiting on the world to change
Waiting on the world to change
Waiting on the world to change

i may have taken it wrong in the way you wanted it to be taken, I was not trying to jump on you over this just trying to state the facts that anyone there right now was there becuse they singed up to go in to one of our services. this might not be the put come they wanted but it was always there for them to know it could happen to them.

No your not forced. and niether was any of them.

If you chose not to be there that is your choice. I can respect that as much as i can the one that choses to go to fight there. as a father i would hate to send one of my kids off to war. but then loseing a father in Nam i can honestly say we in our family are born in to a service to a point i guess.
but any who.
keep up the good work space bud!!
the songs there are good songs .
later for now bud
