LoL `Drew, thanks for your reply & yes it would appear that way when taken out of context from the complete article, but
what really was untrue in his statement ?

Did he put it like that to wake up the reader of his words
Maybe a Wake `Up to `Act ? To get involved to help make it a better country/state/county/city/community to live & enjoy life ?

Is my life half empty ? or Half Full ? How `bout U ?

Thanks for your thoughts in this informative discussion.
I learn so much in life & on the MCF....
Thanks everyone for your contributions....

I am reading the article half comatose before going to sleep. For some reason that seems appropriate. I truly believe that as long as humans are comfortable then yes bliss is wonderful and so to ignorance. Using a simpler example, let's say for the sake of argument we have a married couple with children. Everything in the marriage and family is going well except a few things about your spouse don't add up. There is the possibility of infidelity. You can ignore what you know in your gut is going on because you don't want to upset the status quo. If you prove the infidelity then you are forced to take action.

Americans are like the spouse with the cheating spouse dealing with the government. As long as they feel comfortable they won't get educated, and involved. The more uncomfortable we become the more likely we are to take action. This is what has made the Occupy Movement so popular. It may also be what has made me decide to take action myself and run for the oval office. I may add to this post after my recharge.
