I feel the same way.

Chevy as well as other auto makers made some really beautiful cars long before I was born. It would be great to be able to get behind the wheel of a few of the cars I've dreamed about and take them for a spin.

Back then the auto makers took more pride in the design work as well as the manufacturing of the cars they built. It was more of a "Hands On" industry. Not like today.

People call the cars of the past were gaudy, or land yachts, or dinosaurs.

I do know this. You think a '57 Chevy is large try placing one next to one of today's extended cab, duelly trucks or SUVs. It will dwarf the '57 Chevy.

Thanks Space for the link to the old auto brochures! Spent the better part of an hour just looking at and reading about all the old cars. I wonder if anyone will pay homage to our generation of cars fourty or fifty years from now
