RE: ~ Curves of Steel ~
I just wish I could drive them : )
I feel the same way. Chevy as well as other auto makers made some really beautiful cars long before I was born. It would be great to be able to get behind the wheel of a few of the cars I've dreamed about and take them for a spin. Back then the auto makers took more pride in the design work as well as the manufacturing of the cars they built. It was more of a "Hands On" industry. Not like today. People call the cars of the past were gaudy, or land yachts, or dinosaurs. I do know this. You think a '57 Chevy is large try placing one next to one of today's extended cab, duelly trucks or SUVs. It will dwarf the '57 Chevy. |

Thanks Space for the link to the old auto brochures! Spent the better part of an hour just looking at and reading about all the old cars. I wonder if anyone will pay homage to our generation of cars fourty or fifty years from now;)
