If you wanted to further modify the car. You could add a limited slip 4:11 rear end, tub the fender wells, put some sticky meats, a 3500-4500 stall converter...I could go on but my pants are starting to get wet......

In 1976 I bought a used '68 327 for $75 from a salvage yard I was very good friends with the owners. Put the engine in my car and couldn't get it to run right? So I called a friend over to help me.

He shows up in a '67 Chevelle he'd just bought. A one-owner car. Turquoise with white vinyl top. 396 under the hood with a 4-speed and a 4:11 posi rear. He bought the car from the original owner's widow.

I conned him into letting me drive his car. (Big mistake here)

I was driving down the street and saw some of my friends. So I pulled up beside them, let them see the car, and lit the back tires up.

The guy who owned the car wondered where I'd been when I got back??? [sm=bustedsign.gif]

Hey RJ,
I have a confession too. I introduced my best friend to one of my ex-girls. He happened to own a very rare 1965 Porsche 356 SC. Worth big bucks now.

It was like a VW with a Rocket Engine and killer Suspension.

One day she came over to visit and she brought the car. Understand that he had never let anyone drive his car.

Well, needless to say she let me drive it by myself.

Whoa baby, I am atwistie junky. That car stuck to the road like super glue.

What a thrill. to this day, I never told that story.

1957 Chevrolet Bel Air
[:-]WoW [:-]

Introduced in 1950, the Chevrolet Bel Air was a car that spoke of youth and freedom. It was available with a six-cylinder engine, offering 115 hp. It was flashy, bearing a two-tone paint scheme as well as a beautifully tailored, two-tone interior. As the ’50s progressed, the Bel Air continued to thrive as the ’All-American car’; it increased in magnitude, and became available with a variety of engine sizes, including the V-8, which was normally reserved for the powerful Corvette. Chevrolet(...)

The Corvette Z07, aka SS (Super Sport) will be launched in the middle of 2008 as a 2009 model and will be priced around $100,000. It will be the main competitor of the Dodge Viper supercar unveiled this year at the Detroit Auto Show. Chevrolet will increase the LS7’s displacement and bolt on a supercharger to bump output by 145 hp. So the 7.0 litre V8 engine will now deliver 650 hp. This will help the car to make the 0 to 60 mph sprint in 3.5 seconds and have a top speed of 215(...)

When I first saw this image, I was asking my self "where did I see the same design?". And when I remembered! Yes! On the 2003 Chevrolet SS Concept, that we previously reported that will be go into production as the 2009 Chevrolet Chevelle. But, even if we are not sure that this will be the name of the vehicle, we are sure that the GM’s sketch design is inspired by the SS Concept. The entire front design remembers of the SS Concept design: the logo are placed on the same silver(...)
