LOL you saw that? I'm not a believer, but my Mom made me promise her that I would keep it there since we lost a few family members in car accidents. So a promise is a promise and I don't mind keeping it

And thank you muchly Space (you have mentioned it before, but that's okay) :P

Hey everyone, happy monday. I'm dong some overtime today between 6 and 10 pm. Bobby and I broke up for now... It's for the best considering the situation. Sucks... he did it on my birthday too... Happy 29th I guess.

I took my car and everything is fixed including that annoying *** squeal that was starting under the hood. Belt tensioners were loose. Got new plugs and wires. Exhaust is fixed (for under $200), what killed me was the trashed wheel bearing. $200 bucks plus labor. The issue I was having with my fuel gague has seemingly fixed itself... the needle now moves, and it shows I have just under 3/4s of a tank since I just filled it and put about 80 miles on it. So I paid $500 to have it fixed... I have now officially spent $3000 dollars in FIVE DAYS TIME... and I drive a BAD AZZ MONTE CARLO to show for it...

Had some GORGEOUS guy in a black Monte SS starin me down... looked at me and said "hey beautiful, nice ride". Oh yeah... ain't it sweet what a Monte can do for YOUR love life...

Robyn, happy belated

Sorry to hear about the personal problems, but I'm glad to hear that your Monte is starting to be up and running with the best of them In my PM I gave you a link on how to do the wheel hub assembly change, did that pan out to be too difficult? I know that those things can be stupid expensive

Now it's time for the body? or are there still more things you have to get done mechanically?

Chibi... the wheel bearing got done at the shop. I paid 500 to have EVERYTHING... wheel bearing, exhaust, tuneup, oil change, and inspection. I am GOOD TO GO!

Needs struts... I might be looking at a set of eibachs....

Eibachs are springs, if you want a good set of struts that won't break the bank and work 15% better than OEM + last longer try the

KYB GR2 struts. Don't forget to get yourself a good set of mounts too.

Are you absolutely positive though that you need struts and not just new mounts? Are you squeaking badly (mounts) or is your car not bouncing back the way it should?

Open the trunk, push down on the inside of the trunk (I say this way to prevent pushing on the paint / bumper / spoilers) and see if the car bounces right back to you, if it rocks 3 or more times then yes you would need struts.
