Cute kid. Love your car....and thanks for your service.

Which Monte is that? My moms 86 SS had 300xxx ORIGINAL miles on before we swapped in a 350. Nothing broke though, just some worn piston rings that made it puff smoke out of one side when started.

I'm pretty sure they did an A+ job fixing it! I took it for one hell of a test drive yesterday...really twisty road up to the reservoir goes on for about 15 miles before you hit the reservoir...I was pushing the Monte to every limit it had, it was drove HARD last night on that little drive, but I had to test the STB, and see if I honestly could tell a difference! And Yes, it made a huge difference in the handling of that car...of course, it will never handle like my dads Mustang GT (which has the bullit suspension) or a Corvette...but for a big comfortable cruising car, it did pretty good! Certainly better than before! Then I had to make sure the new PCm relearned all its settings properly (you know, it needs to know that is owner likes MAX power all the time! LOL)...

But if you and the bums want to further test it, be my guest, the keys are yours for a bit! LOL! The Monte is up for it, I am sure of it!
