Hi Everyone.
Here it is 5:36pm (EST). Hope everyone has had a decent day?
This weekend has been a wash out more or less for me.
Got up yesterday to overcast skies. Pulled Carlo ('86 Monte) out of the barn and it poured. So much for going to the morning cruise-in. Waited a while for it to let up, which it did. Got in the car, headed towards the cruise-in and it poured again. Decided to just stay home till the afternoon and go to the evening cruise-in.
We got to downtown Miamisburg and HUH.......... we're the only ones there? I mean there isn't even a barrier to block the regular street traffic from driving through the cruise-in area. I called the number on the flier and asked if there's a cruise-in or not? Nope, no cruise. So back home we drive.
By the time we get back home the sun is shining just as brightly as if there hadn't been any rain at all in the morning. Debbie says, "You offered to buy me pizza for supper. Let's go to Richmond (indiana) for pizza at Pizza King."
Took my '86 Monte back home, got the Pace car out and off to Richmond we went.
This morning when I got up the sun was shining beautifully. I thought about skipping Church but there were plans to celebrate our Pastor's 50th wedding anniversary today. They were married July 25, 1959. And I knew Debbie wanted to be there, so we went to Church instead of the car show I wanted to attend.
Other then that.......... it's been a quite day.
I know come winter I'm going to regret all the recent car shows I missed.

...One's priorities can change to do for others, or the ones we love. R.J., There will only be one 50th for your pastor, but there will always be more Chevy Shows : ) You don't have to go to any shows, because your already own your own.
Enjoy the beauty that surrounds you...Your Chevy's & Monte's, plus the ones you love....I wish you No Regrets 4-Sure. Peace/Out
Post'in/Sharing, what I've been taught

Here's the link to yesterdays show in Elgin IL. :

I got MOST of the pics posted to the Elgin Meet thread, but not all. I'll get the ones I missed up tomorrow, plus I'm going to start a new thread about fenderwell intakes and CAIs, as there was a wide variety there. I'm going to pick a winner as "Wayne's Favorite Intake" from the show. See if you can find it. Here's a clue: It's homemade!
