The deadly superstorm slammed into the East Coast on October 29, wreaking havoc in New Jersey, New York and many other states. The record storm surge flooded towns up and down the coast, while millions remain without power days later.
Here's how you can help those in need: Donate to the organizations that are mobilizing relief efforts in the region.

AMERICAN RED CROSS: The humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement will provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. Mobilizing disaster workers, emergency vehicles, shelters and relief supplies to the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast states. Designate your gift to 'Disaster Relief.' DONATE HERE.

Some people may not be able to donate cash but that doesn't mean you cant help. Most people have New or like new Items around the house like blankets or clothing that could be of use to someone. Also giving blood may help. Just contact your local red cross office.

I just helped out the Red Cross tonight with me and a few guys from the Fire Department. We drove up and down the blocks with our lights on delivering food and water to those in need. I really feel fortunate compared to those who live right on the water, they got hit really bad.

Thanks `Chris, Lou, `Bill & member's that take the time to help/share with others in need...There are many rewards
for helping. There are so many in our communities, country, world that need help...

There are many that just take, and have never been taught to give back...I fill sad for them also for not having good examples in their lives...
