I have a great relationship with both of my parents. It's a fantastic feeling and I love spending a weekend a month with them

 

Right now -- stressful. I won't get into it though.

Mine has been gone for over 31 years. Still miss him and think about him most every day. Time heals but memories stay with you.

 

Dad passed in 1992 day befor Thanksgiving.
Miss him greatly still today.
We didn't always see eye to eye, and we argued.
We both loved cars, we both loved each other.
Dad was the best dad he could be with the parenting knowledge he had.

At work and saw this and had to post. Have to get back to work now.

unfortunately i do not speak to either of my parents, when i was growing up my life with them was great but as soon as i graduated i was 100% on my own with no help from them (huge eye opener) but its not only that, they hate my gf of which we been together for over 6yrs and lived together for over 5yrs. they called her nasty names to her face and also said some nasty stuff about her family to her face. they told me to get turbo monte out of there garage so i go to get it and then they call the police on me because im trying to drive a car that is not inspected (this spring it wasnt inspected do to all the mods i been doing, its inspected now lol) there has been alot more but im not getting into everything....

for everyone i can say try your best to keep your relationship with your parents, its a great thing. unfortunately my parents are people that is impossible to get along with and it hurts not "having" them anymore but i cant deal with all there crap and stress they cause me.....

 

Hi members, my parents were both killed in a car crash when i was 3 & I was raised by my grandma. I really dont remember them but I have pictures & Ive learned they were great parents & loved me. I wish my father was still alive & i hope he might be able to read this & tell him that i love him.Spaces grandfather is like a father to me.

Turbomonte i hope you call your dad or send him a card?it could be a beginning to a new start...like space says what if ?
