Take a low-volume, British-manufactured Ultima GTR, stuff it with a 7.1-liter, twin-turbocharged aluminum-block Chevy V-8 that produces 1600 bhp and delivers that massive oomph through a custom-made 3-speed paddle-shifted transmission, and spend over 1000 hours in research and development to make sure that both chassis and drivetrain play nice together, and you've got yourself a Maxximus G-Force.

The pet project of businessman/philanthropist David McMahan and car builder Marlon Kirby (the two met when the former was being driven to his private jet at the airport by the latter, working as a chauffer for a limo company), the Maxximus posts some impressive numbers: According to an organization called the World Records Academy, the Maxximus is the world's fastest street-legal car, sprinting from 0-60 mph in 2.1 seconds, 100 mph in 4.5 seconds, and going from 0-100-0 mph in 8.9 seconds.
The interior was designed by an "aircraft interior specialist." The amenities we've come to expect in our everyday cars are present (sound system, air conditioning, leather), but the overall look and quality levels are what you'd expect from the typical low-volume boutique manufacturer — decent, but a far cry from any volume manufacturer.
Built to order, pricing for the 45-state street-legal (according to the company) Maxximus can vary, but expect to pay something in the "several million dollar range," says a spokesperson. The car you see here — the world-record-setting machine — is said to be already spoken for. The buyer? Yup, you guessed it — someone in the Middle East or from Outer `Space

if i won the lottery i'd buy a sweet motorhome, and probably a GMC Yukon Denali or an Escalade. something big. i'd get all the upgrades/random crap i want done to my monte, pay off all my and my dad's bills, buy my dad a new house and myself a house with tons of land somewhere warmer, near the beach. then i'd travel the world for a while and definitely criss-cross the country in my motorhome (with my monte in tow of course). i'd definitely take some time off work but i don't think i'd quit. i'd get bored after a while i'm sure. at least work keeps me busy and out of trouble (sorta
). i'd also treat myself to my dream of going to every nascar track for a race, as well as going to every major league ballpark.

the majority of my shoes are flip flops and sandals...they're my favorite, i wear them even in the winter, unless it is too snowy. i agree with being barefoot as often as possible. i used to walk around the office barefoot till the day someone broke in and there are still some little shards of glass all over the carpet. but i have a bunch of pairs of racing shoes for work, and heels and boots for when i go out. never know what i'll need when traveling around in my bus
plus i have a lot of clothes, i am one of those girls that has to pack for three weeks to go away for 2 days!
