I try not to pay attention to prices to much, theres nothing we can do about it, we all NEED gas, so why worry? Just keep on driving

The $4.00 gallon mark makes me slow down consumption all the way around. Entertainment, food quality, combine trips, car pool. Damn stock speculators drive up the cost of oil and invariably fuel....Thought Obama was going to rein in these guys and make them take actual delivery of the product, but well he got put into his place once he was elected. Oh the powers that be can really twist your arm good. Reg. Unleaded is $2.82 here in Utah as of today 09 Jan 12

WoW, you are lucky not to have to pay attention to the price.
I know 2 many people on a fixed budget, or just living off their savings & they have to watch every penny they spend to made it in life....
I'm happy 4 U, and this is not to down your words, but just to let you know that I think you are one of the lucky ones

Christ one of those shieks over there camals farts sideways the price goes up. Look what happened when Iran made some more of their baseless threats about blocking the staits of hormuz . They would rather cut their noses off to spite their face and screw their own people

Exxon-Mobil will once again post record breaking profits and you can bet on that. The price that we are paying for gas is needless. Every time there is a holiday or some world crisis the price of gas increases whether or not there is a shortage. Our government refuses to establish a reasonable energy policy. They keep imposing more restrictions on the automobile industry and think that this is a good policy which is BS! We need to tell the middle east to take their oil and shove it where the sun don't shine. We have more oil underground in the continental United States than we can use in 100 years and at less than fifty cents a gallon. When I am elected president I will focus on renewable energy as well as domestic oil production. I think that just about every home in America should have solar panels on the roof for the generation of solar energy. We should also have wind turbines too. Conservation is only part of the answer. Not the total answer as our government seems to think.
Because Susan works first shift and I work second with alternate days off I can't reduce the amount of driving we do. We drive 140 miles a day back and forth to work almost every day. Due to my family size I can't drive a puddle jumper. I am not driving a minivan because it was my first dream vehicle. It is either a minivan, a full size van , or a Chevy Suburban to fit the family. The minivan I think is the safest, and the most efficient of the group.
