Welcome. Nice Monte Paul! It is NOT JUST a Monte Carlo...Although, before buying mine, I must say, I always kinds liked the Monte, but it was never a car on my list of have to have cars. In fact I wanted a Camaro, but in 07 when I bought mine, I couldn't get a new Camaro. The second I laid eyes on my Monte, I knew that very moment that I was taking it home no matter what. Now, the more I drive it, the more I LOVE it, its my baby! And I got to say thats after putting 70,000 miles on it in just under 2 years! Yikes!

Enjoy your Monte, and have fun loving it...Others just wish they had one! LOL!!!

BTW...Even as much as I LOVE my Monte, 1k oil changes is seriously a waste of time, money, and resources. Like Wayne said, use a good Full Synthetic, and change it less often, you will be fine. I use Mobil 1 and change it according to the oil life monitor usually every 7-9K depending on how much highway driving I do.

I think it was the Divison belltour in 93' that Gilmour had 24 semis. Thats the only problem, following them semis. I'll drive my beater...I would save mpg by drafting them. Before I got my monte, I thought about making a 32' Foot movie screen (exact size they used) for my 21st birthday. Though if you have a 32 foot screen, you need a pa system. Which, in case, (I always wanted anyway) was the JBL Vertec. Sexy pa speaker cabinetes. But my other itch on my foot is to build a Jurassic Park Jeep (down to the Jurassic Park Jeep credentials used on the mirrors) Little more realistish.
