Exclamation wheel speed sensor testing specs?

hello im new here and just got my first monte, the abs and trac lights come on within a few miles of driving everytime. i took it to a local repair shop and they told me its the right rear speed sensor, so i tested them with a voltmeter from the abs module i get approx 1040 ohm on all W.S.S.s except the drivers side rear (which i assume would be the left rear sensor) its getting 1240 ohm, the only specs i can find anywhere on the net were for a impala and it said 750-1300 ohm was in specs but it also said to test for ac voltage which i am not getting even if my meter is on the lowest ac setting while turning the wheel/hub assy ohms is giving me a reading when the tire is spun but not voltage, i did this from the harness going into the abs module with the key off and from the new w.s.s/hub i just bought new, the only reading i get is 1040 appx ohm unless spun. anyway i was wondering if any one could tell me the specs and the proper way to test the w.s.s's i dont want to replace both of them because they said right rear and the left rear is the only one ohming different. oh also i do have different size rear tires 215/65/16 fronts are stock size 225/60/16 any help will would be greatly appreciated thanks

Is the overall tire size the same? Our speed sensors work by determining the rotation speed of the 4 tires, when one is different it will try to activate traction control or assume it's not working properly.

With that said, it could just be water or debris in a connector, or a poor ground for the sensors.

Now you tell me. j/k

Hope it's something simple and easy. If you're able to do the work yourself, do it. It'll save you a ton of money.

hey guys thanks for the replys, yes i plan on doing the work myself(the only way to go and yes chibi im thinking they are slightly different but im not sure how much the 65s are in the rear and 60s in the front. its assuming its not working properly; when i drive i can feel the abs system pulsing before it throws the service traction message and reverts back to standard braking w/out trac. i have tested the rr sensor wire with wheel off and wire to sensor disconnected for continuity it seems good no cont. by itself but w/ a jumper in between i get continuity. where is the ground for the sensors? its a 00 ss model. i love the car but cant stand warning lights!!! i think if someone has the proper testing procedure i should be able to figure this out ie; ruling out the s.s.'s checking grounds and connections and maybe its just the tires, i already purchased a new s.s. so if that is the problem i can swap it out but i want to be sure it is and which one it is first. thanks guys

I believe under your air box is a ground wire for them
