New member with a 1988 Monte Carlo, I am open to any advice. Trying to restore a classic!

jridges, welcome. My 88 is a C1500 not a Monte.

JMT's, resotring a vehicle of this age depends a lot on where it has been for most of it's life. If it were me I'd start from the bottom/underneath and work up.

Depending on Salt, Surf or whatever your resto work could be a little or could be a lot. Either way, a lot of fun and good luck with it !!
