Default water leak on drivers side floor

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site as I am new to my 2004 monte carlo ls. I've been having a problem with water leaking onto the drivers side floor and I cannot figure it out. I pulled the cowel where the windshield wipers are and that drain is not clogged, I did notice that the plastic piece that is attached to the wiper motor has flattened the weather stripping down and is wet, however the drain where the rain goes is clear. I tore apart under the dash and have no sign of water, I did clear the drain holes on the bottom side of the door and water came out so I thought it was fixed. Wrong! had more rain and it gets wet right where you rest your foot and where the e-brake is. The weather stripping around the door looks good except a small tear at the back side of the door. my car is parked on a incline so I thought maybe if it is leaking there I would see it but that's not the case either. I just turned the car around in the driveway to see if that makes a difference. If anyone knows anything else I would greatly appreciate it.

Check the seal around the windshield. Take a cup of water and pour it on the roof channel and around the windshield and see if it's coming in that way.

it.water will drive you crazy just keep looking and try diffrent things.

If you have a sunroof, it's more than likely your drivers side drain tube is clogged up. Remove the sun visor and pull down your headliner and clear the drain. I usually just blow into it or use a long pipe cleaner.

Contact cement will do a much better job at repairing torn weather stripping versus RTV sealant.
